Pellet stoves range in price from $1700 to $3300, depending on the desired quality, features, trim and options. Installation costs are relatively low, $350 - $550, because the stove requires a simple 3" - 4" venting system, as compared to the conventional wood stove chimney. Many stoves can be vented horizontally, directly through an outside wall. No special materials on the surrounding walls are required.

Usually wood pellet heat is cheaper than buying cordwood, propane, electricity, fuel oil and now gas. During the 2001 - 2002 season, our customers saved 35 - 45% over using their fossil-fuel furnace. In the 2000 - 2001 season they saved 60 - 70%, because when it's cold energy costs spike. Now in this uncertain world, with what's happening in the Middle East and because of 9/11 you can be sure that fossil fuels are going to rise.
